NJ Department of Human Services has launched a hotline at 866-202-HELP for residents who need help coping with stress and anxiety during the COVID-19 crisis. The hotline is open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. seven days a week.  St. Joseph’s Health in Paterson has also created a free support helpline for the hearing impaired. The number is 973-870-0677. Hours are Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

DASI continues to make decisions and plans based on information and directives from the CDC, federal, state and local government and healthcare professionals, the Governor’s Office, Sussex County, and local municipalities. We are following social distancing and sanitizing practices to help protect the health of our staff, our clients, and the community. 
The DASI 24-hour Helpline 973-875-1211 is always available for information, support, safety planning, and assistance. Collect and anonymous calls are accepted.

Please note that each modality has different implications for caller privacy and safety, therefore, safe communication method should be individually considered.

Sussex County Department of Health

The Sussex County Division of Health COVID-19 Hotline is now open.  Residents may call the Hotline number at 973-579-9488 to speak with a Sussex County Division of Health (SCDOH) staff member or Sussex County Medical Reserve Corp volunteer.  The Hotline’s hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  Additional information for residents can be found at the locations listed below.
